Luthier’s Workshop (est. 1972) has helped hundreds of loyal musicians and several quality music stores with a variety of stringed instrument services including a wide range of maintenance and repairs to complete restorations of well loved vintage instruments. Even though we are an authorized warranty service center for Jasper, Taylor, and Eastman guitars, we service all guitar brands old and new. Services Offered
Flat Hourly Rate: $75.00 will apply with some exceptions
Electric Guitar Setup: includes neck and bridge adjustment and strobe intonation
Acoustic Guitar Setup: includes neck and saddle adjustment
Fret Dress: includes level, crown, and polish existing frets
Complete Refretting: Replace all frets, level and polish; setup not included
New Nut—Acoustic: bone or graphite nut with setup included (strings extra)
New Compensated Saddle—Acoustic: bone saddle with setup included (strings extra)
New Nut—Electric: bone or graphite, setup not included
Reglue Loose Bridge—Acoustic
Headstock and/or neck repair
New Pickup Installation: on a per pickup basis; flat rate applies if routing is necessary
Repair Loose Wire or Jack
Electronic Repair Rate: labor plus parts apply
PLEASE NOTE:
• Strings and their installation are an additional cost to repair
• Finish work is always estimated on a case-by-case basis
• Restoration projects always estimated on a case-by-case basis
Since most of the guitar repairs we perform are straightforward, we can usually name you a fixed price.
IMPORTANT: If there are repair variables beyond our control, repair costs may be higher than the estimated price.
As it pertains to the risks and considerable value of vintage guitars, repair costs on these instruments will be made on a case-by-case basis. The quotes are FREE!
